Project Overview
Columbia Engineering Group provided civil engineering for Nomad Subdivision in Washougal, Washington. The project involved development of a 1.9-acre property and supported the creation of seven private lots.
CEG also designed a half-width public road improvement along one edge of the property. In addition, the project included utility and stormwater infrastructure to support the residential development.
Coordinated Residential Site Development
The project required roadway, utility, and stormwater improvements within a relatively compact property. Therefore, CEG coordinated the civil infrastructure around both site access and long-term functionality.
The design also focused on reducing future maintenance needs. As a result, the stormwater system does not require HOA oversight.
Civil Engineering Scope of Work
CEG provided civil engineering for the residential site and its supporting infrastructure.
Residential Lot Development
The project supported development of seven private lots within the 1.9-acre property.
Public Road Improvement
CEG designed a half-width public road improvement along one edge of the property.
Utility Easement
The design incorporated a utility easement that provides power, water, and sanitary sewer service to the development.
Stormwater Management
CEG designed a low-maintenance stormwater system that does not require HOA oversight.
Project Outcome
Nomad Subdivision combines residential lot development with coordinated roadway, utility, and stormwater infrastructure on a 1.9-acre property in Washougal.
In addition, the low-maintenance stormwater system reduces the need for ongoing shared management. As a result, the development balances practical infrastructure with long-term efficiency.
