  • "This project developed a 7200 SF PEMB building partially enclosed to be used for equipment storage for the Union County Road Department. CEG was contacted by Union County and asked to assist with getting the project permitted. CEG quickly assembled a design team, including architectural, electrical, and mechanical engineers. CEG provided lighting design for interior and exterior lights including dusk till dawn lights over drive in entrances, lightweight high efficiency LED high bay lights inside. The Building was also outfitted with dedicated outlets for vehicle block heaters. For the shop space, gas fired radiant tube heaters were added to provide freeze protection and climate control for the County Road Dept. equipment. The project involved the addition of a new 200A electrical service fed from an overhead line and brought underground to a meter base on the side of the building. A gas line was extended from another building on the property to make best use of the available system connections while maximizing cost savings."
